In any type of organization, there can be rough waters when it comes to communicating effectively, because everything we do sends a message.   In this insightful and interactive program, you will learn how to recognize and avoid common communication pitfalls, understand the subtleties of communication, and develop your “C” legs in order to navigate with poise and professionalism.

Cindy will guide you through easy-to-implement, effective approaches for being more concise, conscientious, considerate, and compelling in your communication by learning to:

    • identify and minimize perceptual gaps to avoid misunderstanding
    • choose appropriate words and communication methods
    • be mindful of vocal qualities and non-verbal signals
    • listen generously and from an “inside out” approach
    • get to the point without missing the point
    • manage your internal response to others’ actions and behavior
