    Presentation Summary:
    The presentation will focus on the importance of worksite wellness for reducing health risk factors highlighting industry best-practice benchmarks for design and implementation of wellness programs. Further discussion will uncover specific wellness program components commonly employed that are successful in leading to lifestyle change and improved health in employer groups.   
      
     
    Speaker Bio:
    Bob Phillips is currently the Wellness and Health Education Manager with a Peoria-based wellness firm. Phillips designs and implements progressive worksite wellness programs aimed at reducing health risk factors in individuals and employer groups. He is a passionate advocate for health and wellness whose work with local employers has helped hundreds of central Illinois workers live a healthier life. Phillips holds degrees in Dietetics, Psychology and Human Resources Management and is a certified health coach through the American Council on Exercise. He is also a published free-lance writer focusing on topics of chronic disease prevention.
