Employee engagement has been a hot topic for several years, and while the needle has moved slightly in a more positive direction, the latest statistics remain grim – and, frankly, puzzling. With countless books, articles, workshops, webinars, reports and more on the subject, why do organizations still struggle to engage and motivate employees? The quick answer is because it’s complicated! There are multiple, interrelated dynamics that influence engagement and motivation that must be understood and addressed. In this upbeat and engaging (pun intended!) presentation, Cindy will share fresh perspectives and her unique approach for what organizations can do to solve the employee engagement conundrum and create a thriving workplace.

    Specific Learning Objectives:

    • Review the latest employee engagement statistics and trends
    • Understand the neuroscience associated with stress, trust, and empathy
    • Recognize the critical need for leadership presence, integrity, and civility
    • Learn strategies to help employees strengthen self-management skills, build resilience and adaptability, and feel more empowered
